Marlux has been manufacturing pepper and salt mills since 1875 in their factory near Paris. Traditional but innovative Marlux is the creator of often imitated items like nutmeg and chili grinders and parchment paper leaves. Marlux uses dense beech wood from managed sustainable French sources for its wood parts, hardened steel with hand cut grooves for pepper mills and 10/18 coated stainless steel that resist corrosion for the salt grinders. All finishes are certified food safe. The wet salt grinder uses wood gears that will not corrode. This unique wine bottle shape pepper mill with a famous french wine label is a beautiful conversation piece.
